As we have now entered the coldest part of the year, there are a few easy things you can do to keep your indoor plants happy.
- Make sure your plants aren’t sitting near any draughty doorways or next to heaters. The sudden changes in temperature can cause leaves to drop or even turn brown and crispy (we see you Fiddle-leaf fig and Calathea) .
- Reduce your watering - most indoor plants would be happy with a good soak every 2 weeks (depending on how warm or sunny your home is). Check the moisture levels easily with a moisture metre.
- Now is a great time to get on top of pests before the spring growth. Have a good look all over the plants for spots and any creepy crawlies. Give them a good spray down with some We The Wild - Protect neem oil.
